Overview:
The CSCC has
accomplished quite a bit
in the little over a
year since it's
creation, and we're
gearing up to challenge
our members in a new
way!
The Cloud Standards
Customer Council, in
partnership with
BPTrends, and TechTarget
is sponsoring
the 2012 Cloud Standards
Customer Council Case
Study Competition. The
competition is open to
member organizations of all
sizes, including
government agencies,
which have successfully
delivered cloud
implementations.
(If you're not a CSCC
member, it's
free to join.)
The goal of the CSCC Case Study
Competition is to
highlight cloud success stories and
lessons learned to
provide proof points and
insights for other
organizations
considering or pursuing
a cloud implementation
or adoption. To qualify for
the competition, the
project must be complete
with demonstrated
business results.
The
Awards:
 |
The
overall winner of the CSCC Case
Study Competition will be
offered a keynote speaking
opportunity at the CSCC
Meeting to be held December 10th -
11th, 2012 in Burlingame, CA.
The second place finalist will
receive a dedicated webinar
opportunity from the CSCC. |
 |
The
winner and runners-up will also
be presented with award
plaques which they may
display as CSCC recognition of
their outstanding work in the
cloud space. |
 |
Recognition
in publications of BPTrends,
TechTarget, press releases
and listing on the Cloud
Standards Customer Council and
OMG websites. And continued
editorial support as
opportunities arise through
2013. |
 |
All
submitted case studies will be featured
on the CSCC website, not
just the winner and runner-ups
(as
long as permission is granted). |
Judging:
Entries will be
judged on the complexity
of the business problem
addressed, the
ROI/Business
Value achieved
(Agility/Innovation/Flexibility/Optimization/Resilience/Service
Delivery), the level and
sophistication of the
cross-organizational
collaboration
(Business/Technical) and
the usage of approaches and
supporting technology.
In addition to one
overall winner,
organizations will be
recognized by
industry/government.
Deadlines:
Case Study
Competition winners will
be announced in
Burlingame, California on
Tuesday, December 11,
2012
and will be featured on
the Cloud Standards
Customer Council

press release,
and in publications by
BPTrends and other
industry publications.
